"IT WAS A BRILLIANT WORKSHOP. I'M THE LEAST ARTSY PERSON YOU CAN IMAGINE AND YET THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MY TIME. BOTH ME AND MY WIFE ATTENDED, THE FORMAT WORKED REALLY WELL AND IT'S SOMETHING WHOLESOME AND DIFFERENT TO DO AS A COUPLE ACTIVITY."
Your chance to create!
The Art Room was always the most popular room in school. It was the cool room; messy, smelling of paints and bubbling over with freedom and permission to be exploratory. Artist Sarah B Davies aims to bring that excitement, anticipation and delight into the sessions she runs.
The Art Room is where we can make space and time for our own art. Whether virtually in our own homes or live and in person, Sarah brings the thrill of The Art Room through gorgeous materials, permission to explore and make a mess.
The Art Room offers:
Creative wellbeing sessions;
Art workshops;
Learning Kits;
Children's creative learning.
During The Art Room sessions, Sarah will guide you through visual art, creative writing and sculpture to create individual works of art in 2D and 3D.

"THE CHILDREN REALLY ENJOYED THE PROCESS OF MAKING A WELLBEING MAP. I'D DEFINITELY USE IT AGAIN WITH MY CLASS"
"IT HAS CHANGED MY PRACTICE. MY CLASS HAS BENEFITTED FROM IT AND I HAVE BENEFITTED FROM IT. IT HAS PUSHED ME OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE."
"I TOOK THIS WORKSHOP AS A BEGINNER AND I REALLY THINK ZINES ARE GREAT! I THINK IT IS BECAUSE THE PAGE IS SO SMALL THAT THERE ISN'T THE PRESSURE TO FILL THE WHOLE PAGE WITH EXCELLENT WRITING OR DRAWING, YOU CAN BE MORE FREE. SARAH IS VERY RELAXED AND ENCOURAGING AND I FOUND THE WHOLE WORKSHOP FUN."
"A LOVELY INTRODUCTION THAT TAKES YOU THROUGH THREE DIFFERENT WAYS TO CREATE A ZINE. GOOD PROGRESSION FROM BEGINNERS TO MORE ADVANCED. REALLY LOVELY TO REVISIT A SPECIAL MEMORY AND WEAVE IT INTO A ZINE. A GREAT KEEP SAKE. THANK YOU."
"THIS WORKSHOP MADE ME THINK HARD ABOUT IMAGERY AND AS A RESULT I VALUED THE SUBJECT MORE."
